Robbie Keane, a footballer and coach who grew up during the golden age of Italian football. Robbie, back then known as Roberto is currently the player with most appearances for Ireland.

Awarded 2014 MLS MVP (Most Valuable Player), 3X MLS Cup Champion, 1x English Cup Winner, 1x Supporters Shield Winner and 2x Irish Footballer of the year (2009 & 2013) takes a central stage as one of the most legendary strikers to set foot on The Premier League and MLS stadiums (also played loaned for Inter Milan in 2000-2001).

Despite all his achievements during the time in the MLS, we all remember with a smile on our faces the glory days at White Hart Lane – Tottenham Hotspur and his leadership of the Republic of Ireland National Team.

For the Republic of Ireland, here celebrated via his 146 caps, Keane, is the all-time goal-scorer (68 goals). From 2006 up until 2016 he captained the Boys in Green.

Starting in the 1990s as part of the “golden generation”, he took part in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Nations Cup (2011), Euro 2012 & Euro 2016.

Robbie Keane will always be remembered for his unique celebrations involving backflips, for his chips, nutmegs and oriented receptions that so many times put in the face of his favourite victim: goalkeepers.

His positioning before receiving the ball and the way he tricked defenders shows that he predicted the future and knew how to get the best of them. To predict is to kill: Robbie was a master at this art.
