Product description

The 2010 World Cup final was set to be a magnificent display of offensive football. On one side the Tiki-Taka reigning Europe with Spain´s backbone brought from Guardiola´s Barcelona. On the orange side, the players were dispersed in Europe´s finest clubs.

A final that set a new record for the most yellow cards awarded in a World Cup final and a red card, was only decided in the 116th minute when Iniesta scored the winner. Spain arrived indeed as the main contenders to the final after winning the 2008 Euro but the Netherlands were and hefty opponent.

With a modern interpretation of total football, Spain managed to win after a very disputed final. Maybe the moment where the world stopped before the winning goal was when Robben was denied the goal by Casillas's toe.

A millimetre that took away the glory of a team that had their final chance of reaching glory as most of the superstars were in their final career years.
