After winning the Euro 2008, Spain arrived in South Africa with the spotlights marking them as the main contenders.

Iniesta´s 116-minute goal embodied the shout for glory from a nation that had waited until two years before to each its first major glory. 2010 gave the confirmation stamp that La Roja is one of football´s all-time legendary squads.

From the feet of Andrés Iniesta, Spain unleashed all its Furia Roja and celebrated by showing a white shirt saying "Dani Jarque: siempre con nosotros” (always with us) - Dani, had passed away in 2009 after spending all his career for Espanyol.
